Our Music
Kronoby Hornkapell's first leader Petter Lybäck was a fine musical arranger as were both of his sons Vilhelm and Alfred. All three did a tremendous job of writing down septet music in the hand written books, one for every part. During the years the books grew in quantity; we have now 12 books full of our music.
The first example is a potpourri of Bothnian Folk music, created by J. Alfred Lybäck for the first song festival in Karleby District in 1924.
The second is a selection on Polska Dances, arranged by several different musicians. These Midi files are made from the original hand written music using Encore software.
The third example is a march, Emigranten (The Immigrant).
The fourth example is a waltz, förgät mig ej (forget me not).
The next one is a mp3-file, Corelli's Sarabande.
