Kalle is my pride and joy. He has the sweetest temperament that you can imagine. He also seems to inherit his lovely, easygoing temperament to his offspring. He is my first show beardie and we have had a lot of fun in the ring. He gained his junior world winner title in 1998 in Helsinki, his Finnish champion title as he was 2 years old and he has also gained Swedish and Norwegian champion title. Kalle has also achieved BIS-wins as well as group wins.

Kalle has sired 3 litters. The first litter was born in Hillguards kennel and the second one in Sweden, Nallelandets kennel. At the tender age of 11 year he became dad for the third time. This time the bitch was owned by Glenthistle kennel. This bitch gave birth to a litter of 8 puppies. I wish Kalle's offspring and their owners all the best and hope that they will bring as much joy and happiness into their whole environment as Kalle has brought into mine.

On the photo above Kalle is five weeks old. Conny sent me photos of Hazel's litter and I was supposed to choose one. Well, I did not know much about what to look for in a five week old puppy but this one, number six, caught my eye. He stood like a showman already and even it is only a photo you can see his attitude. I have never regret my choice.

A day I will never forget (photo above) -the World Winner Dog Show in Helsinki in 1998. Kalle was entered and I drove all the long way to Helsinki in my small car. It was the first time I drove with the car to Helsinki, alone. Well it was worth all the stress as mrs Cartledge was very impressed by Kalle and made him Junior World Winner! What a day! "13 months. Heavily coated. Glamorous youngster with plenty of ring presence and style. Lovely head and expression. Beautifully presented. Easy mover. Good topline." (Elizabeth Cartledge)

The photo above is of Kalle's litterbrother who was sold to Japan. The quality of the photo is unfortunately not the best possible as I have scanned it from a paper copy.
